Season's Greetings!

Belated Christmas wishes to you all. I hope you had a wonderful time and that you found your day full of good fun and good cheer. The weather here has been particularly warm over the last week so we were able to head out and enjoy a proper Kiwi summer Christmas Day with our friends in the 'Naki. I've been rubbish at keeping up with the blog recently due to our big move but to get you up to speed, we've got mates down here that Iain knows from his time at the Glasgow Warriors and whom we spent time with in 2009 when we first came over. You can reminisce along with us about that trip hereAnyway, Mike's parents invited us to their house for Christmas lunch along with the rest of the Scottish contingent down here. (More to follow on them, later!)

It was a cracking day. We got up early, opened our presents (Iain finally got the long board he's been wanting for months!) then had breakfast with the patio doors wide open to blue skies. We headed down to Margaret and Kevin's place in the afternoon where we ate, drank, swam in their pool and then did the usual Kiwi thing of a bit of back-yard cricket between courses. They were great hosts and it was really nice to get together with a big group of people on Christmas day when we are so far from our own families and friends. So to those of you who sent cards and gifts, thank you, and to you all, all the best and I hope your heartburn and hangovers aren't to too severe this morning!
I was delighted there was sprouts on the menu
Mike and Clark do the hilarious team photo pose
Apologies for the photos which aren't really up to much. Must try harder in future!
