A Sense of Spring

The past two weeks have flown by. It's been a choca-block fortnight of swimming and having post swim coffees at Beanz, french lessons, cooking, trying to fix my aching big toe (that I hurt at the Christmas night out), planning for our trip back to Scotland, trying to sort all the outstanding payments from our health insurance (brutal), and spending lots of time outdoors in the dry, clear warm days. Oh, and Iain and I even went out for a date-night dinner! Amazing. Here's some photos of what I've been up to:

A new find at Auchan: Falafel balls. They're great, but even better is the garlic and chives dip recipe also on the box. A great 6 Nations snack!

Lets go fly a kite:

Homework:

Getting the health stuff organised. Sorting online accounts and making sure all the payments have been reimbursed. A bureaucratic's dream.

More swimming sessions. Going hard
And spring is definitely in the air:

Date night with Iain. We had pre-dinner drinks at Les Contrabandiers which was packed and had a really great atmosphere. Then we went round to Détours where we went for the degustation menu matched with wine and it was absolutely incredible. Every course was delicious and prepared specifically for my GF needs. We will definitely go back.

The swimming continues, and I'm even cycling down to the pool now.

And out enjoying the warm spring sunshine. Glorious.

And we rounded off this weekend with a walk around Beaumont. Again, glorious. Taps aff!

The countdown to the big trip back to Scotland is on. Only two more weeks!

Lorna. :-)
