Pop Art Pressies

I had a really cracking group of girls in my Y13 (S6) PE class this year. They were all about the professional group photos at the winter ball and even bought me a copy of our shot (will try to post once I get it scanned) and by term three they had taken to simply calling me "Scottish". Their chat was always top notch and one day we were all blethering away about one of the girl's art portfolio, and in particular the pop art pieces she'd been working on. I was chatting away about how I was once going to buy some pop art stuff for my flat in Edinburgh before I came to NZ but never got around to it. I never thought any more of it. You can imagine the surprise then, when Courtney gives me a present at the Leaver's Dinner - a set of three hand painted pop art  Minis just like Minerva! I couldn't believe it. Without a doubt the best present I've ever been given by a student, and to be honest, I can't imagine anyone ever topping it. Courtney was really humble about them even though she told me it took her about a week to paint them. I think they are absolutely awesome. I'm going to get them re-framed for our new house to really make the most of them but here's a sneaky peak until I get them sorted.
Delighted!
