The second half of our holiday was spent doing lots of relaxing, reading and eating. The morning after Jinty left, the heavens opened and it poured down.
Beach/pool holidays can be a bit tricky when the weather's not flash (especially if you're travelling with kids) but by booking our holiday directly with the hotel, they gave us free access to the spa so we decided to head down there and have some fun in the pools until it heated up a bit outside. William was loving it and he looked super cute with his spa cap on too ;-)
By the afternoon, the rain had cleared so we headed to one of our new favourite spots, The Olive Tree, for lunch.
Here's some more snaps from us hanging out around the pool, going for food and trying to keep This Boy out of mischief.
Growing in confidence as the week went on...
More lunching at The Olive Tree:
My book for the week. Hours of joy with Mr. K. Follet.
They had a children's club at the hotel which William was still a bit young for, but they had a kid's disco every night which he got right into by the end of the week. Here's Iain trying to stop him from doing a bit of stage diving.
Before we knew it, we were packing for home. It was a brilliantly relaxing week with great food, decent weather and everything we needed as a family. I would go back in a heartbeat.
