McAvoy grows up?

As most of you reading this will already know, I turned 30 at the start of the month. It's almost taken me two weeks to get over the celebrations. Many, many, many thanks to all everyone who succumbed to Iain's pleas; making then sending videos all the way down under. I don't really want to embarrass you lot by posting any up here, but just to let you know they were VERY varied from banjo playing, songs devised, drunken rabbles while sitting on the bog, lots of stretching, and a Greek promotional video. Nice, Muirzo. :-)
The celebrations started with Iain and I going for an amazing meal at the top of the Sky Tower...(a great way to spend the last evening of your twenties - the Auckland horizon and a bottle of bubbly!)...and Iain also got some pretty amazing news just before dinner - details to follow!!
Iain also arranged for Julie & Paul and Katie & Steph to come up for the weekend which was amazing. Friday we did a bit of a Devonport/Taka pub crawl with Kai'i and Lou (much nonsense unter the tarpolin in the Big Rig), Sat we all had dinner with some of our new NZ mates, Jeff and Adine, and on Sunday we ploughed on through. Unfortunately Julie and Paul had to go home on Sunday - there's not much time for holidays when you're a farmer! It was brilliant having them up though and it looks like we're already booked ourselves in for Christmas in Oamaru. (By which time Julie's bump will be maaaass-iiiive!)
We had to put up with Cathy and Steve for a little longer as they didn't leave till Tuesday. More about that later...

Looks like a blast - hang on to those vids , would be a laugh to get a look at the others some time. Did see muirzos as he very kindly helped us out, so we got to see the unedited versions. Believe me by take 32 (the final cut) it was quite polished. Anyway nice to see the b-day pics. Just had Katie over for the wedding - was so lovely to have at the crescent. Miss you guys. chat soon xx
