Six months of living above the Biddie Biddies and all their 'biddie biddying' took its toll and we started looking for a new house. Takapuna's a great spot - loads of cracking wee cafes for weekend brunches and good boozers for Steinlager Pure in the evenings so we were keen for another place in the same area. We searched and we searched and we viewed a number of places but good olde Trade Me just wasn't coming up with the goods. We decided to widen the net and the gamble paid off, as we found a brilliant house down in Devonport. Realistically, it's too big for just the two of us (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms!) but the location is amazing; right down on the peninsula, 2mins walk into Devonport Village and less than 10min walk down to the wharf where a short ferry crossing (about 12mins) takes us right into downtown Auckland. Here's a load of shots of the place to give you the idea...
Some outdoor shots of the grounds!

This is a huge house !!! I'd love fiding such a beautifull garden but hey UK weather doesn't allow the flora to develop !!! Do you need to furnish it ???
xx
loooks great, we are coming so get ready!!
Hey Jen, yeah it's pretty big, and yeah we do need to furnish it. Pretty much all NZ rentals are unfurnished. We're getting a bit more organised now though...have a look at the new photos to get the idea!
By the way, have you heard Julie's moving over here?!!!!
