Catchin' Up - Whangarei

I've just been looking through some photos and realised that I hadn't uploaded anything from our first trip up to Whangarei at the start of Feb. We were originally heading up north to help Ash and Teece move the last of their things back down to Auckland but Teece thought it would be a good idea to have an overnight at her parent's bach (pronouned batch and another word for a NZ Holiday Home) on Oakura Beach. This was also the weekend when we also decided to do some Diamond-Ring-Shopping!

Teece's parents were fantastic hosts and after some swimming in the ocean, we had an incredibly chilled night at their place overlooking the bay. What an amazing location they have! Once Ash turned up, we even decided to head down for another swim at about 8.30pm.
Here is us on the Sunday enjoying a nice walk before heading back to the big city...
Top weekend :)

A shit poem>

Every time I read your blog I wish I was back across the water,
It always makes me think - should we oughta?
But although we miss you and it makes us sad,
We're happy to share your stories here, it makes us really glad.

<Great to see you guys looking so well and having so much fun - very jealous although we still don't regret coming home (yet)
