Winter Holidays 2011

Before I'd even finished up for the term, three good, yet very silly friends, arrived from Scotland to spend my holidays with me. Cue lots of nonsense chat, laughs, a shed load of alcohol and of course, some Road Trips. May I introduce to you: Laura, Suzy and Iona. I worked with Suzy and Laura at The Grammar and Iona is a mate of Laura's from Uni who I actually know from my days as an egg chaser. Laura was actually here a couple of years ago on her honeymoon but for the other pair, this was their first time on NZ soil. After two and a half days travelling from Scotland (where they left Glasgow with hangovers, got drunk on the plane, sobered up, had hangovers and got drunk again) they arrived in Devonport around 1pm. And where do you think I found them when I came home from work? That's right, The Patriot, on the cider. This is the level of chop these girls enjoy. It was really only ever going to go one way, and there are plenty of stories to come. Watch this space.
Lorna. :)
