Bluff

We had great intentions - let's go to Steward Island! (The wee island off the bottom of the South Island) but the bloomin NZ weather kicked in and we decided that is probably going to be hideous crossing with not much to do on the other side while the rain continued to stoat off the streets. We can safely say that the Southern Scenic Route became somewhat of a myth. We did however, make it to Bluff, the southernmost town on the south island, and indulged in a half dozen of their famous oysters. (Sadly not in season though so we had to make do with the deep-fried version, Glasgow stylie!)
And we also saw some typically weird Kiwi stuff on the way...nutters...
