It's still difficult to comprehend that we don't live on the other side of the world anymore, and that it is much easier for people to come and visit us. So, our first proper guests were Iain's parents who managed to sneak in a wee trip before all the Scottish schools went back. It was absolutely wonderful having them here and William was in his element, hanging out with his Nanny and Papa. We spent the week eating and drinking our way through various cheeses, saucissons and wines, and talking nonsense out on the patio.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't brilliant while they were here but we still managed to get out and see some of the local sights as well as putting them to work in our very overgrown garden.| William didn't think much of Lourdes |
Towards the end of the week, the weather picked up again and we managed dinner on the Boulevard. William got absolutely stuck into his steak hachè and fries.
Hopefully it won't be too long until they're back over.
LM.
