Viewings, Food & Babies

We are continuing to settle into our new (temporary) home. It's a good house to live in. So what's been happening since I last wrote? Well, Vincent continues to land viewings on us without much notice which is a total pain in the jacksie. I'm getting a bit itchy about not having a place to put my record player and have been searching online for something equally as retro as the machine itself but haven't come up with anything yet. It's starting to look more and more like I'll be heading to IKEA.
We've had some good foodie adventures of late. The first one being the sushi shop in Pau, serving up the most amazing salmon poke bowl which the manager adapted to ensure was gluten free. These are the kind of experiences which make you return again and again. We will definitely go back. In addition, he even fashioned some trainer chopsticks together for William. He was delighted.

We're back into lots of proper cooking at home again, with William helping where he can (he's had a go a helping with lasagne this week!), and me making some pretty amazing bits and bobs. (Again).

In the true sense of springtime, babies are being born, and we're looking down the barrel of trying to have an IVF baby. My good friend Nadia went into labour last Tuesday and we had already agreed that she would drop her 3yo daughter here for when she needed to. It turned out that Liana got a full sleepover with us and her and Willian got to have their morning milk together in bed. It was so cute. I've been to the pharmacy now, and the fridge is once again full of IVF drugs. I've put my potential schedule together. Now, we wait.
Finally, William just seems to be getting so big. I bought him some new clothes this week and he just looks so grown up!

Best.
Lorna. :)
