Just a bit of a round up post really with lots of photos of the things we've been up to. William is loving school and its great to see how positive he about going these days. It does, however, make me feel a bit nervous about him changing school next year but hopefully he will settle quickly.
My fitness is still ticking along well and I feel like I'm really getting stuck in again. Lots of swimming and I've started doing some Joe Wicks in the garden again. I think this will probably be my best and simplest form of exercise once the school holidays come around again.
Saturday saw the last home match of the season against Grenoble. Given how things have gone this year, the actual end of the season can't come quick enough. It was certainly good to finish the home games on a win though, hence the smiles all round. Phew.
On Sunday we took in some of the Grand Prix. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit driech (it has been driech a lot recently) so we spent a lot of time in the beers tents in Place Clemenceau drinking sangria then, as you could probably guess, we ended up in the pub.
With the end of the season imminent, the rugby girls organised an end-of-season get together at Brasserie Royale. It was a really lovely night and a great chance for a final hurrah before everyone disappears for the summer break, or onto pastures new. With French Mother's Day (Fete de mere) happening on Sunday, William came home from school this week with his present for me. I think this is actually his first ever "made it for my mum" piece so it was a special day in our household. You can just see how incredibly proud he is of his work! Love it.
Lorna :)
