My God, the weather really has been mental recently. Proper rain. And relentless with it. It's been full waterproofs for the school run and I've been going a little stir crazy with it all. We all have.
We're just ticking along in our usual rhythm: school, gymnastics, weekend rugby, Strictly in onesies, and walks in our back garden (the château parc!). We went to the Remembrance Sunday service at the cenotaph and saw Vivienne (ÇaVa Bien from the Mushroom House). The very annoying dripping tap in the bathroom has finally been fixed, (hurrah for Olivier!) and with Iain getting a free Saturday, we even managed a very sociable kids and adults play date with Jess and Olivier last Saturday: half the time spent at ours, and half at theirs with a good few drinks and lots of adult chat while the kids had a ball. It was really lovely.
Life ticks along.
