The adrenaline fuelled morning left the girls desperate for a drink so we spent the afternoon, and the evening, playing silly games in the pub. This included Connect 4 and rugby bingo. If you've never played rugby bingo before, it consists of numbers 1-22 picked out of a hat before kick off, then as the game progresses and your player(s) score, you drink. And its point dependant - five shots for a try etc. Clearly you're not looking for 10, 11, 14 or 15 in this game - and even worse if you've picked the kicker.
Anyway, as our nonsense chat continued, and our weary, alcohol savaged bodies begged for a reprieve, the encouraging shout was always the same; "CHOP ON!" Its amazing how easy you can give into peer pressure when there's booze on the table and three nutjobs are shouting it at you.
