Week 20: 23 - 29 Oct; Hanging Out & Hallowe'en

William continues to be great fun and full of nonsense. I love how he can just find fun in stoating about the house. For example, bouncing on the bed (imagine the crazy laughter as he jumped around and throw himself on all the pillows...)

Dressing up as a farmer and playing in the garden...
And crazed cheering on the swings at Idron park:
It was also a Hallowe'en themed party at playgroup this week so William went as a spider...
Here he is with some of the playgroup crew:
While in Auchan this week, I felt like the French assimilation was well underway. Not only did I buy fois gras, but, as we were waiting in the checkout queue, William started pointing and shouting something like "cassan". It took a few shouts before I realised that he was pointing at Brioche Dorée (the french equivalent of Greggs) and shouting, "croissant"! With such enthusiasm, I felt it was only right that I indulged him the famed french pastry. Look at the size of it - about the size of his head. He's also getting much better at drinking from a cup. Hats off to gymnastics club where he gets water in a proper cup during the break, thus forcing him to learn how to drink too.
Something else has also gripped William this week. Strictly! Here he is, mesmerised!
A bit more kitchen experimentation this week - the famous McAvoy lamb saag to use up Sunday's leftovers. Delicious.
We rounded the week off with a wander at the Bastard Forest. The trees are shedding their leaves quickly. Brrrrrrrr....
 LM :)
