Week 21: 30 Oct - 5 Nov; Fun & Games, and Gin.

On Monday, William got a surprise package in the post. It was a birthday present which had been sent to my mum's place. She had initially thought that it would be a good idea to keep a hold of it and William could open it in Scotland but she changed her mind and posted it over. It was from my cousin, Lorraine, and she absolutely nailed it with the gift. Trains and building. Tick! He absolutely loves it!
We headed out for a bit of mid-morning stroll along Allées du Morlaas and, as you can see, the trees are now turning a beautiful autumnal shade. This boy is going pretty well on his bike now too...
On Tuesday, we randomly stumbled across a big lego display/promotion going on at Leclerc. William was absolutely loving the duplo. Might be time to add to his collection.
I managed to get out on the ran-dan this week! All the rugby girls headed out for a baby-shower-with-a-difference for Jessica. It was really cool as we had our own area sectioned off at the Snug bar, a new cocktail place in town. We were all particularly enjoying the small gins on the menu!

The weather was brutal on Saturday so to avoid going truly mental with cabin fever, some of us rugby mums met up at the soft play. This was William's first time here (I have been avoiding soft play like the plague!) and he went nuts for it!
After quite a crazy morning, it was time to alter the pace in the evening. I got William his first colouring in book. I'm quite against Peppa Pig as all the characters are so unpleasant and irritating but the book is a great size with big lines for colouring in-between so he really likes it. I've even allowed him to use my pencils but my OCD necessitated that they were all returned in correct colour rainbow order.
LM :)
