Indian Summer

Aside from everything that's being going on in the IVF Marathon, the last two weeks have been really beautiful, and we're just enjoying living in town. In lieu of no booze for me, I've been gardening, cooking and doing a little window shopping around the town. William's been enjoying his bike - we took him to the BMX park and he loved it; he's also turning into a right little street urchin weaving through the pedestrians in the old town. We've had a trip on the Coxitis to the library and he's mad for bubbles in the spa bath we have. And the best news is that he's settled really quickly into his new school and class. We're delighted. Also, because we're now trendy townies, we went to a thing today down at the old forge buildings next to the train station. Some arty types have turned it into a work space but they are now doing DJ sessions in the afternoon with a bar and food trucks. It was really brilliant.

Good distractions from life!
