Keeping Busy

I'm writing this post very retrospectively and when I look back at all my memory joggers for this particular 10 day period, what stands out is that with William back at school (but still coming home every day for lunch) I was very much filling my days with jobs upon jobs to keep myself busy. My weekly to-do list is packed full of doc and podiatry appointments, french lessons, home chores like meeting builders to assess the damp in the office, sorting baby clothes to send to Scotland, getting the fire sorted for winter use, driving licence and passport applications, trying to run or exercise despite my ongoing feet / plantar fasciitis issues and catching up (somewhat unsuccessfully!) with the Blog; and the photos from this period depict this very jobs driven life: food, passport shots, walks along the river, crafts (HEIDS) at home with William, and the inevitable wet weather Saturday morning trips to AcroJungle. It's tiring just remembering it all!

The notorious French driving licence application

Trying to get a photo for William's passport - we ended up having to get pro-shots done

Ahh, the old pulled pork makes an appearance and (below) so does the result of damp. Not again!

Food glorious food!

...and Sunday adventures along the river...

Despite William's seemingly positive review, a good Mac&Cheese still evades me
...but the Chinese Style crispy pork was a triumph:

And another week ticks by. ✅
