This week has been more about getting back into regular routines than going on new adventures. We've been at the gym on our usual days and even managed a run/walk on Thursday through the château parc before getting back into town for the 11th November commemorations. My to-do list has now grown to a point that it's too big for my planner but I'm pleased that I've finally sat down and taken stock of everything that needs done. French admin is brutal. Here's my ridiculous list:
- Sort health file
- Blog Nov '20 (yeah, I know - a whole YEAR to catch up!)
- Blog Dec '20
- Photo Dump
- Recent blog
- Food blog
- Driving licence
- CAF
- CPAM/GFP inc William's mutual & Doc registrration
- Train reimbursement
- Velux shutter
- Charity drop
- Script / flu jab
- William's bank account set up
- William UK passport
- French homework
Out of all this, all I managed to do was sort the health file, find out that I don't need a script for my flu jab, and do my french homework. Hardly the most industrious of weeks was it?! Mind you, I was a volunteer parent on William's class trip to see an orchestra on Tuesday morning, and I also took him to a birthday party on Saturday. The weather's really on the turn now but we got out for a bit of a walk on Sunday afternoon and William brought his guys along too. While we were on the Boulevard, I noticed a woman double taking at William when she realised he was wearing an Ergo with his doudous in it. Her whole face lit up with joy!
Lorna.
