Given that this was a sports trip, I thought I better include some pictures from the schools we visited and sports we played. Our tour group of 53 kids provided us with one basketball team, one hockey team, one football team, two netball teams and one volleyball team. We went to four different school from Monday to Thursday, each of them matching our teams to play off for the the Trans-Tasman shields. It really was an amazing week of sport. The level of competition was pitched just right and the staff and the students at the schools made us feel really welcome. The AJHS kids did themselves proud and we came back with three of the four shields. What a week!
