The Beast from the East

The whole of Europe seems to have been gripped by a weather phenomenon this week. We were regularly checking the weather app on our phone which, unbelievably, kept telling us that there would be snow in Pau on Wednesday morning. We just couldn't imagine that it was going to happen, but, we got up to a white out! Amazing to see palm trees covered in snow! Iain was already off work but we cancelled William's gymnastics and got outside for a play. We couldn't resist!

It wasn't long before we were all wet and cold, and ready for a big bowl of homemade soup.
