If you've been keeping up with recent posts, you'll have quickly realised that we've had quite a number of visitors over the last few weeks. Just to keep you up to speed, the guest list went something like this:
Ash (Iain's mate - physio from the Blues) and his other half, Tanya were staying with us on and off from about the middle of Dec. They're moving down from Whangarei as Ash has started back work now along with Iain and Tanya (Teece) has just landed a new job in Auckland too so they needed somewhere to stay until they're sorted down here. They headed to the UK for Christmas (Ash is English, but don't hold that against him) and left the day before Cat and Divsy got out of the mayhem at Heathrow. While we were down in the Coromandel with those two maniacs, Big Bizu Lizarazu (Brian O'Neil) turned up with his then girlfriend, now fiancée (YEAH!), Kimberly. They left us to head off on some more up-market road tripping but joined us again in Devonport for a final farewell. The following day, Alun Powell and Tory arrived on the second leg of their honeymoon to celebrate Hogmanay with us all. Catster and Divsy left Auckland for the South Island on New Years Day (whoever booked that flight never banked of Cat's raging hangover now, did they?!!) and Tory and Al left the next again day. Then a bloke called Bruce Aitchison came to visit. Although Iain sort of knows him from Uni and I know a lot of PE Teachers he knows, he's more a friend of a friend (Donnie MacBride) and he was here as a best man at a wedding and needed somewhere to crash before flying back to Scotland. Being decent sorts, we gave him a bed for a couple of nights, fed and watered him and, as he's a rugby guy, Iain took him to work for the day. He was also lucky enough to get a run to the airport in my mini - which he claims to have enjoyed, but I think he was terrified. While Bruce was staying, Ash and Teece returned from the UK then once he'd left, Catster and Divsy came back for one final night. Phew! It was pretty full on, but it has been absolutely amazing. We're very lucky to have so many people willing to come and visit us, and it was particularly good to have them all here during the festive season. Just remember, YOU'RE always welcome to come too, so what you waiting for?????
LM :)

i like to think we're now best friends though....
If that's you, Aitchison, then you're very much mistaken.
