| At the Crater Face, Mount Eden. |
As Ian McCulloch once sang, "Nothin' ever lasts forever", and sadly this was all too quickly true for Caster and Divsy's NZ vacation. After the mayhem of Hogmanay, they headed down to the South Island for ten days of touring where they saw all the big sights and then visited Julie and Paul in Oamaru. They headed back to Auckland for twenty four hours where I took them on a final whistle stop tour of the city, showing them our new house, where we work, and some of the Auckland landmarks. It was great talking about all their Kiwi experiences and talking about the amount of things they've fitted in during their three week trip. Divsy said that he reckoned it was the best holiday he's ever had, and Catster was in agreement.

It was absolutely amazing having them here, probably because we never, ever, thought that they'd be able to make the massive trip due to their work schedules. Catster is absolutely off her head and I don't think I've laughed so much in the last six months. Examples of her terrible chat are: 1. Seeing huge plastic dinosaur sculptures in Rotorua and her brain seemingly goes into overdrive, she puts on a ridiculous voice and bellows, "Billions of years ago", which she'd randomly remembered from a scene in Friends and 2. Upon witnessing the top of Mount Eden volcano she just shouted, "The whole place is a no-parkin zone, CRATER face!" If you don't recognise that film quote then I wont even bother telling you where it comes from but God knows how that girl's head works? As you can imagine it was a difficult goodbye at Auckland Airport but getting to spend so much time with them, and knowing they'd had such an amazing time made the au revoirs that bit easier. It's good aye.

Awh dobber, loving the blog. Excellent work. I've not laughed so much either! It's a harsh reality back in the not so sunny partyisland. We'll just need to come back next year to do it all again...
Thanks for putting up with us and for being such excellent hosts.
Miss you guys loads.
