Cat, Divsy, Iain and I headed off on a road trip on Boxing Day with our itinerary taking in the Coromandel Peninsula and (woohoo!) Rotorua (know in NZ as Rotovegas). Surprisingly, the traffic was fine heading down to our first destination of Whitianga in the Coromandel so we had lunch in Coromandel Town then headed over the scenic route towards the lovely beach town of Whitianga. You'll notice some stunning vistas below...
