Rotorua is one big volcano. There's quite a lot of stuff going on under the ground and from time to time it bubbles to the top. Mum and I went to visit some of the mud pools and the internationally famous Puhutu Geyser which erupts up to twenty times a day often gushing up to 30 meters (100 feet) in the air. As ever,
Jinty enjoyed taking multiple shots - beware if you're heading round to her house any time soon - but I was especially impressed at her eye-to-viewfinder approach to her digital camera. Old habits die hard...

Not many digitals come with a viewfinder but well done Jinty because when the sun shines it can be hard to see the LCD.
