Wow! May already. A whole month in the hoose. Rubbish.
So Friday was all about me trying to drag myself out of my trough of boredom. We went for a huge walk, covering about 6.5k and stopped off at a couple of places on our route to buy food, booze and snacks. The 1st May is a holiday in France so it was surprising we could actually get our hands on anything. We took advantage. And, true to form, Iain came out the supermarket with some ridiculous drink purchase: a triple pack of premixed Cinzano Spritz.
It got cracked open for the Cleland family cocktail party on Zoom, and surprisingly, it was actually alright. Needless to say, I tanned all three. That's the level of lockdown we're on now: Premixed Cinzano.
