With Friday night's gin-induced FaceTime Party, Saturday morning had a rather slow pace to it. We finally got going though and it was our usual daily routine of laundry, food, lego, playing, bit of tv. Iain had some work stuff to try and organise in the afternoon so William and I headed into the garden with a new plan of attack on his trains: build them on the picnic bench. It was a total winner.
You'll notice from the following photos that I had certainly dropped the formal aspect of my attire today. So much so, that you might even want to consider calling it #ScumbagSaturdays. We were shattered and just happy to have dinner (côte de boeuf, - if we can't go to Passage, then Passage needs to come to us), watch Gogglebox, and go to bed.
Great photography by William which I had to share:Sunday 29 March
Neither Iain or I managed to sleep particularly well on Saturday night so once again, we had a bit of a slow start to the day. The weather started nice so we spent a wee bit of time in the garden playing with the trains, and the big ball, but it was much colder and the rain came in in the afternoon so the three of us snuggled up on the couch and watched Paddington. It was good old mince and totties for dinner then onto the weekly family pub quiz, this week hosted by Woodsie and Chipper. I'm pleased to announce that we won! Hurrah!
I can't quite believe that we're another week down. I don't know if I've already said this in another post but the French Government have announced that the lockdown will stay in place until at least the 15th April. It's widely expected, however, that this will go on into May. Mental. So with this in mind, Iain's club have decided that they will allow the players to take equipment should they want it. Iain needs to go to the training centre tomorrow to oversee this. I'm a bit nervous about how this will go as the boys can act like big kids so I hope they follow correct protocols and Iain can minimise contact with them. I'll let you know how it goes.
Lorna. :-)
