More good weather today so more time outside. Thank God. I actually woke quite late, maybe around 9am, and when I went downstairs, William and Iain had already eaten breakfast and were getting into their morning activities of Lego and watching YouTube videos. After I ate, I got some laundry on, and Iain headed outside to get into his Prison Workout routine. We danced around each other for a while, him trying to stretch and me trying to move laundry to the only bit of the garden with sunshine. Fish turned up on his bike, clearly breaking curfew rules by being so far from home. He stayed for a cup of tea, and only sat in the garden. I felt weird not asking him in, but its the way it needs to be.
After lunch, Iain set up a Ninja Warrior course for William which we all got involved in for a wee while. After that William and I spent time tidying up the garden, potting more plants, and generally just pottering around like I do most days. He spent time "cleaning [his] car". I'm not finding this situation particularly different from my normal routine so at the moment, I'm quite happy. I know Iain is starting to find things hard though, especially trying to manage his work remotely. We're also still enjoying an evening vino with our dinner.
As I said yesterday, I'm really trying to keep my news intake down. As such, I don't really know what's going on in the rest of the world apart from the Scottish Education Minister, John Swinney announcing today that the SQA exams this year are being cancelled. The first time since their introduction in 1888. Mental.
