CoronaVirus Lockdown Day 16 & 17

Wednesday 1st April
Wow! April. We left for Scotland on the 1st March, and now we're in April. This month has just passed in the strangest way. We're finding a decent rhythm now which is helping the days pass quickly, and with a good mix of physical activity, creativity and down time. Yesterday, Katie Oman recommended that we give Cosmic Kids a try so we followed her advice. It is mental. Although, at its heart, it's a yoga programme for children, the more recent videos link in dance and storytelling and it was brilliant fun. We were jumping around like maniacs and William absolutely loved it. This will definitely be used again!
In the afternoon, I spent quite a bit of time down in the office working on my questions for this week's family pub quiz. I'm really enjoying using my brain for something a bit different and some of the questions I've come up with are daft. Hopefully they'll go down well on Sunday. We finished the day off with an amazing chicken and prawn carbonara type dinner which Iain made. It was delicious.

Thursday 2nd April
Thursday became a bit of a cook off day. I'd bought stuff to make my very brilliant Cauliflower, Pea & Ham soup and had also decided that in lieu of no fresh bread in the supermarkets (the Schär and Gerblé stuff isn't that brilliant) that I should start making my own again. If you're interesting in making the soup, the recipe is listed on my food blog, here. As I was being so industrious, I didn't really take any photos. The only ones I took were of William after he'd torn up the break mix box:
Not much else going on except for more Cosmic Kids, yoga, workouts, lego, and social media.

Cheers,
Lorna.
