CoronaVirus Lockdown Day 25 - Fri 10 April

Today was a very late start after last night's cocktail party with the Clelands. Shower at 11 and chores after. Then, from me, a wobble. I AM BORED. I'm over this. I want to get back to my routine and time on my own. These days are getting so repetitive. I'm even starting to resent Jamie from Cosmic Kids and her positivity. I know I can't do much but get on with things. Iain thinks I'm doing really well at keeping busy and doing stuff but says that some days, I just need to accept that this is all mad and it's okay to just watch a bit of tv and switch off my brain.

Another beautiful day so we had lunch outside. After lunch, - Iain did his homework and had a french lesson. William and I spent more time outside working on our Cold War Steve collage.

Iain's had a really sore, red nose and for a few days and neither of us quite know what it is. We've considered a few things including a big pluke, sunburn, an irritation brought on from trimming nasal hair, and even some sort of nasal gout (the lockdown alcohol consumption is going up and up). Although it doesn't seem to be swollen, or tingly, he's settled on treating it as though it's a cold sore so we'll see how it goes.
Later in the afternoon, I spent some time blethering with Heather for a bit, who had been on the Bloody Marys and Espresso Martinis since 11am - (great effort!), while Iain tried to get rid of a potential wasp nest in the garden. It had been threatening rain for most of the late afternoon, but finally in the early evening we got some. It's not really rained here since we got back from Scotland so it was much welcomed.

I made dinner - fish for Good Friday! (Salmon pasta, always a winner)

Lorna :)
