CoronaVirus Lockdown Day 29 - Tue 14 April

Hooray - a normal sleep and waking up *not* dusty.

Iain had a Circuits zoom conference with his boys at 9.30. William was getting in on the act, but I think, being slightly annoying by standing directly in front of the camera. Not ideal.

I got up, had a shower straight away and got the laundry on while Iain was Zooming, then had breakfast. Quite good to mix up my regular routine and feel ready to take on the day a bit earlier.

Three of just pottered about the rest of the morning; William and Iain watching repair shop videos and playing Lego, and me, I don't really know. Again, bored, and pondering Macron's chat last night of an 11th May lockdown review. Brutal.

Had a good user-upper lunch of pulled pork, brie, bbq sauce, creamy slaw on toasted homemade bread.

In the afternoon, Iain did his french homework and had a lesson; I called Jinty; then William and I set up all the V-Tech track and toys on the table outside. It was a glorious afternoon so I was just happy to have an outdoor space to enjoy and change up where and how we play.

Mathieu, our new (returning) neighbour was back in his apartment and doing jobs. Turns out it joins on to the building above our courtyard area. He hung out the window to chat and said he'll have us up to check it out when he's got it all sorted etc. As I'm so nosey, I'm already excited about this.

For dinner, Iain did chicken thighs on the BBQ and they were brilliant. Paired them up with the rest of the slaw and made some potato salad. Guid.

Catch you for more of the same thing again tomorrow.

Lorna.
