Today was an absolutely beautiful day! I think it's the Glaswegian in me, but I have an inherent desire to get all the bedding washed and hung outside as soon as there's decent weather. It's probably because these days are few and far between in Scotland so you always want to take advantage. Obviously, its different here, with months of good weather but even now, with a change to warm sunny days, my first thought is: right, strip the beds! Got all the usual morning chores done like rooms tidied and laundry brought down.
Iain did a workout in the garden while William and I did a Comic Kids story. Today was the Hungry Caterpillar. Had lunch outside in the glorious sun: leftover risotto and a mixer matcher for the rest.
In the afternoon, Iain had a work conference call. William and I, meanwhile, baked a cake (easy premix one from Auchan) for Heather's birthday for the zoom party later, then played outside at cutting more things out for the Cold War Steve collage. It's been a good wee project to keep coming back to. Still have quite a bit to do on it.
In the evening we had a BBQ dinner and ate outside, then a zoom party for Heather's birthday. Happy 44th, Mrs!
